Challengers. Zendaya, Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist are professional tennis players who become romantically entangled in this fresh cross between sports drama and romantic triangle from director Luca Guadagnino. R. (Grand, East Park, Edgewood, SouthPointe).Grade: A.

Humane. Much to the opposition of his family, anewsman intends to enter aeuthanasia program to help reduce the population after an ecological collapse in this sci-fi mystery that was not screened in time for Ground Zero deadlines. R. (Grand).

Unsung Hero. An Australian couple and their children move to the U.S. to rebuild their lives in music in this faith-based film based on the story of the kids who Christian music stars, Rebecca St. James and KING + COUNTRY. It was not screened in advance for critics. PG. (Grand, East Park, SouthPointe).

Vishniac.Photographer Roman Vishniac, who documented the lives of Eastern European Jews just before World War II, is profiled in this well-crafted documentary. Unrated. (Ross). Grade: B+.

We Grown Now.A pair of 11-year-old boys share adventures growing up in Chicago's Cabrini-Green project in this absorbing film of families in an area of urban crisis. PG. (Ross, Edgewood) Grade: A.

Abigail. A group of criminals kidnap a 12-year-old ballerina only to discover she's Dracula's daughter in this picture that turns bloodsucking into a form of professional wrestling. R. (Grand, East Park, SouthPointe). Grade: C.

Civil War. Kirsten Dunst plays a jaded photojournalist documenting the end of democracy in this sure-to-be controversial thriller from "28 Days Later" director Alex Garland. R. (Grand, East Park, Edgewood). Grade: B.

Dune: Part Two. Director Denis Villeneuve's sequel is a spectacular feat of science-fiction filmmaking, marrying immersive world-building with engrossing storytelling. PG-13. (Grand). Grade: A.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. The Spengler family returns to the iconic New York City firehouse to team up with the original Ghostbusters to take busting ghosts to the next level in this comedy fantasy action sequel. PG-13. (Grand, Edgewood). Grade: C+.

Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. King Kong and Godzilla tag team against a hidden threat inside the Earth that could destroy the world. PG-13. (Grand, Edgewood, SouthPointe). Grade: C.

Kung Fu Panda 4. Panda Po and a thieving fox team up to battle a shape-shifting lizard. PG. (Grand,). Grade: B.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Director Guy Ritchie tells the story of the first British special forces unit in World War II in this action comedy. R. (Grand, East Park, Edgewood, SouthPointe). Grade: B.

Spy x Family Code: White. The telepathic daughter of a spy and assassin gets involved in a dangerous mission in this action comedy anime. PG-13. (Grand, East Park.) Grade: B.

Wicked Little Letters. A widow is accused of sending profane letters to her pious neighbor in this based-on-a-true-incident black comedy. R. (Edgewood). Grade: B.
