Beth was born on the family farm near Penzance and spent her early years Saskatchewan. She attended the Sarnia School and then went on to attend high school in Liberty. She took business courses in Regina and worked for Houston Willoughby there before moving with her sister Alma to Calgary, where she worked for Canadian Oil. Beth moved to Vancouver where she met Jim, a fellow Saskatchewan farm kid and the love of her life.
She spent many happy years in North Vancouver raising their daughter Kim and nurturing many close and long-lasting friendships. Beth was devoted to her family and her many friends and loved nothing one of the Anthony's memorable -togethers. Her kind heart and generous spirit touched many. A celebration of Beth's life will be held on Wednesday, August 15 at 10:00 am at Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver followed by interment and then a reception. She fought a courageous and inspirational battle against ALS years. She is survived by her loving parents Daniel and Suzanne Efford and three siblings, brothers Bradley, sister-in-law Lisa, and Jean-Paul and sister Joelle Efford-Gibbons, brother-in-law lan. She will also be sadly missed by her nephews Lucas and Braeden and her niece Haida. Her aunts, uncles and cousins are also heartbroken by her passing.
Danielle was a graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management at Ryerson Polytechnical in Toronto, but her life took her on many different paths. She travelled extensively throughout the world and lived and worked throughout Europe, including Switzerland and England. She also worked in Australia, Japan and Korea as well as at orphanages in Thailand and Malaysia. She travelled throughout southeast Asia and China as well. Danielle joined the RCMP in 1992.
Her passion for policing made her a true inspiration for her colleagues and the people she served. She worked undercover before becoming the Media Relations Officer for the RCMP in British Columbia. After 10 years of service, she left to pursue passions as mentioned above. She returned to Canada in 2008 and once again worked for the RCMP as a civilian member working on policy analysis. The memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL.

Yampolsky, 74 of North Vancouver, a loving and devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather on August 12, 2012 at Richmond General Hospital, after a brief illness. He passed away peacefully, with his loving family at his side.
David was born the second son of Max and Dorothy Yampolsky on March 5, 1938 in Vancouver and attended Vancouver Technical School. He worked as a mechanic and later in the security field to retirement and beyond. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his devoted wife of 45 years, Eileen in 2008. He is survived by two sons Larry (Meagan) Vancouver and I Keith (Shelley) Alberta and daughter Colleen Nahnychuk (Max) Ymir, BC; brothers Sim (Alberta), Nathan (Darlene) Maple Ridge and sister Rea Braithwaite, Burnaby and faithful walking companion, Bella; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. He was a member of the Seaforth Highlander of Canada, retiring as MWO, CD and continued as an active member of the Regimental Association and member of the Legion Branch 118.
David was also a volunteer with the North Vancouver RCMP Community Police Services; where amongst his duties he was 'The Safety Bear' a character he became and loved with a passion. He was also an avid 10 pin bowler in the Mayflower League, where he also served on the Executive Board. When we are sad and lonely and everything goes wrong, we seem to hear you whisper, "cheer up and carry Each time we see your photo, you seem to smile and say. "don't cry, I'm only sleeping, we'll meet again So please God, take a message to our precious Dad up above. Tell him we miss him terribly and give him all our love.

Ernie lost his fight with cancer after bravely facing many outside complications including Parkinson's disease.
Ernie is predeceased by his beloved wife of 48 years, Maureen. He will be greatly missed his children, Karen Hanlon (James), Lori Murphy (Bill), Chris Wesson (Leachelle), Lynn Bradshaw and Ron Lea, and by his ten grandchildren. Ernie was a dedicated soldier, and during his military career served his country as an officer in the Royal Canadian Dragoons, Commanding officer of the British Columbia Regiment, President of the Royal United Services Institute Vancouver, Chairman of the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps Association Trust, Treasurer of the British Columbia Regiment Trust and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors of the British Columbia Corps of Commissionaires. Ernie's warm and generous nature, along with his great sense of humor and wit drew people to him and he greatly treasured each and every one of his many friends. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend, and a great role model to anyone who knew him.
